This innovative series came with pasta noodles in the 1930's (the date is estimated from the patent). The elaborate die-cut is actually assembled into a three dimensional colorful toy. There is a white area that folds down and the animal is folded up to appear to be free standing in the cage. Die-cut holes run along the top and bottom of the open side of the cage and you were to use the dry spaghetti noodles and insert them through the holes to act as the bars to the cage.
